Getting married in the Czech Republic

5. 8. 2020

The wedding season is in full swing. If you are planning to get married in the Czech Republic and you or your future spouse does not speak fluent Czech, you will need an interpreter for your wedding.

For the actual wedding ceremony, be it a civil or church wedding, when handling documents at the registry office, or when making a prenuptial agreement before a notary, a court-appointed interpreter (translator) is required. By attaching his or her signature and stamp, the interpreter confirms that the official act and the translated documents are valid.

Leave the paperwork and stress to us and enjoy your big day! We will arrange for the translation of your documents and help you choose a skilled interpreter. Contact us.
